INTRODUCTION

WordPress Security Question is a WordPress plugin which enables security question feature on registration, login and forgot password screens. Adding a security question to your WordPress site’s login screen acts like additional password security. Your users can choose a question from a list of random questions and then add an answer to that question. You can protect your account of your WordPress login by asking security question on the login screen.

PLUGIN INSTALLATION

How to install WP Security Question pro plugin in WordPress -Step by Step:

1Go to Plugins menu.
2Click on a Add New button.
3On top of the page, click “Upload Plugin” button.
4If you have a plugin in a .zip format, click on “Choose File” button
5Select the ZIP file from your computer.
6Click “Install Now” button.
7Wait for a few seconds for WordPress to complete the installation
8Click on Activate button.

PLUGIN SETTING

Go to WP Security Question Pro, and Click on Plugin setting

SETUP QUESTIONS

Sometimes a user wants to make his registration and log in more secure. He can secure from many ways but here a very powerful way is given in WP Security Questions plugin so he can secure the login and registration.

Here some easy steps are given to set up the question follow the steps:-

1Click on the Settings menu.
2Now you can set up the question here three questions are given a user can include more security questions by clicking on Add More button.
3 Click on Save Settings button.
4You can see your included security questions on Login, Registration, Forget password window in a site page

GENERAL SETTINGS

You can ask a number of security Q/A pair according to your choice.

How Many Questions: Choose how many questions you want to show to users.

Editable by Users: Tick to choose to allow users to edit security answers on own profile page.

You can choose if you want to show security questions always Display on the login screen

Ask Security Question: Tick to ask security question on the login screen.

Show Security Questions: Tick to Always, Randomly, One Time Incorrect Password and 2 Times Incorrect Password.

Message: Insert display a message on security answers mismatch on screen.

Show Hint: Tick to show hint on the screen.

Choose prefix password
Choose suffix password

REGISTER SCREEN

Ask Security Question: Tick to set security answers on the registration screen.

Input Type: Tick to choose the input type.

Required: Tick to choose if answers of all questions are required or not.

FORGOT PASSWORD PAGE

Show on Forgot Password Screen: Tick to display security question on forgot password screen.

Click on save the setting.

ONLY WOOCOMMERCE COMPATIBLE SECURITY QUESTIONS PLUGIN

By using wp Security Question plugin, you can add Security Questions on woocommerce my account page. From your account dashboard, you can edit your password and account details. If you want to set security question users need to go their profile page section and set their own security questions and answers. In this case, both users and site admin can set a security question.

Logged in user can change or update the password also from the account details menu of My Account page and users are also able to set the security questions and answer from the checkout page(If the user is not registered before).
