INTRODUCTION
WP DISPLAY FILES PRO Display Folder Files on Frontend. Show folder files from Custom Directory, Box, Dropbox, Amazon storage, Google Drive and Microsoft One Drive Storage. User can easily download the file by listed files from the download button. WP DISPLAY FILES Pro for WordPress lets you quickly display files, in a paged. It comes ready to go and is fully customizable. You can insert as many lists as you need and easy to use with the help of manage shortcode.
PLUGIN INSTALLATION
How to install WP DISPLAY FILES PRO plugin in wordpress -Step by Step:
- 1Go to Plugins menu.
- 2Click on a Add New button.
- 3On top of the page, click “Upload Plugin” button.
- 4If you have a plugin in a .zip format, click on “Choose File” button
- 5Select the ZIP file from your computer.
- 6Click “Install Now” button.
- 7Wait for a few seconds for wordpress to complete the installation
- 8Click on Activate button.
CREATE SHORTCODE
Go to WP DISPLAY FILES PRO ,Click on Create Shortcodes
DIRECTORY SOURCE
The directory source show folder path in frontend site and display folder and files.
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose Directory source.
- Path *: Enter here path
- Filter Files By Extension : Insert file extension which you want includes.
- Exclude Files/Folder : Insert file extension which you want excludes.
THEMES
LAYOUT
- Choose your layout show in the fornted .
PERMISSION SETTINGS
- Login Required : Tick to choose login required
- Roles : Tick to choose roles
- Login Required Message : Insert login required message.
Click on save shortcode
You would then see a Directory displayed on the frontend of the site
BOX STORAGE
Account sync is very important and necessary to display the cloud files on your website.
synchronization your box files with the plugin by inserting Client ID and Client secret. You can visit the URL Box and then you can create your client ID and the secret ID which is you need to insert in the Box settings.
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose Box source.
- Connection Status : Click here for authorization
BOX AUTHORISATION
Here you will come to know about the Box Authorization which is very helpful to create a Client Key and the secret key. So your Box storage is synced with the Display Files Plugin and you are able to display the files/folder stored in the Box storage to the WordPress site.
- 1Go to the Box Developers Console and Login to your Box Account
- 2Click on a Dev Console located on a left side of a dashboard
- 3Create a New APP and then select the Custom APP
- 4Select Standard OAuth 2.0 (User Authentication) and click Next
- 5Insert the unique APP Name
- 6Copy your Client Key and Secret Key and paste it to the Box settings
- 7 You have successfully created the Client and the secret key.
BOX SETTINGS
- Client ID * : Insert Client ID.
- Client Secret * : Insert Client Secret.
Click on save setting
- Path *: Enter here path
- Filter Files By Extension : Insert file extension which you want includes.
- Exclude Files/Folder : Insert file extension which you want excludes.
Click on save shortcode
You would then see a Box displayed on the frontend of the site
DROPBOX
Dropbox is a service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, and access token, in this way it helps to save the storage of any device and allows you to access your information from any side in a very simple way. WP File download has a tool to synchronize your Dropbox account with the plugin which allows you to create downloadable files from the site. You can visit the URL Dropbox and then you can create your Dropbox Authorization which is you need to insert in DropBox setting
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose DropBox source.
- Now you can see Dropbox Authorization – Completed
- Click on Dropbox account(reinstall)
Click on next step
- Path *: Enter here path
- Filter Files By Extension : Insert file extension which you want includes.
- Exclude Files/Folder : Insert file extension which you want excludes.
Click on save shortcode
You would then see a Dropbox displayed on the frontend of the site
DROPBOX AUTHORIZATION
- 1Go to the Dropbox Developers Console and click on a App Console.
- 2Login to your Dropbox Account
- 3Create a New APP
- 4Select API, Type of Access and insert your app name
- 5Generate the token and paste it to the Plugin Dropbox Settings
- 6 You have successfully generated the token and sync your plugin with the dropbox
AMAZON S3 (AWS)
Account sync is very important and necessary to display the cloud files on your website.
Sync your Amazon AWS files with the plugin by inserting authorization setting and display it on Frontend. You can visit the URL AMAZON and then you can connect Authorization which is you need to insert in Amazon(AWS) setting.
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose Amazon(AWS) source.
- Connection Status : Click here for authorization
- Bucket Name *: Insert Bucket name
- Filter Files By Extension : Insert file extension which you want includes.
- Exclude Files/Folder : Insert file extension which you want excludes.
You would then see an Amazon (aws) displayed on the frontend of the site
AWS AUTHORIZATION
- 1Go to the Amazon Web Services Console and logged in.
- 2Click Services and select IAM
- 3Click on Add User to create a Client ID and the Secret Key
- 4Insert User Name and select Access Type
- 5Set the permission Boundary to the User as per your need.
- 6Assign the Tags and copy your Access ID and secret key
- 7You have successfully synced your AWS S3 with the Display Files Plugin.
Note: Please make sure your all files/folders should be publicly assigned permission.
GOOGLE DRIVE
Account sync is very important and necessary to display the cloud files on your website. Sync your Google Drive files/Folder via backend and insert the folder name which you want to display on a frontend. You can visit the
URL Google Drive and then you have to set up the new app and then you can create your client ID and the secret ID which is you need to insert in Google Drive settings.
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose Google Drive source.
- Connection Status : Click here for authorization
GOOGLE DRIVE AUTHORIZATION
- 1Go to the Google Developers Console and Logged in to your Google account
- 2Create a new project or open the existing one.
- 3Click on Create Credentials and Select OAuth Client ID
- 4Create OAuth Client ID and insert proper Redirect URIs
- 5Copy Client ID and Secret ID and paste it to the Google Drive Settings.
- 6You have successully sync your google drive with the Display Files
GOOGLE DRIVE SETTINGS
- Client ID * : Insert Client ID.
- Client Secret * : Insert Client Secret.
- Folder Name *
: Insert Bucket name - Filter Files By Extension : Insert file extension which you want includes.
- Exclude Files/Folder : Insert file extension which you want excludes.
Click on save shortcode
You would then see a Google Drive displayed on the frontend of the site
ONE DRIVE
Account sync is very important and necessary to display the cloud files on your website. You can visit the URL OneDrive and then you have to set up the new app and then you can create your client ID and the secret ID which is you need to insert in One Drive settings.
- Title *: Insert the title.
- Source : Please choose Onedrive source.
- Connection Status : Click here for authorization
ONE DRIVE SETTINGS
- Client ID * : Insert Client ID.
- Client Secret * : Insert Client Secret.
You would then see a One Drive displayed on the frontend of the site.
ONE DRIVE AUTHORIZATION
- 1Go to the Microsot One drive Developers Console and logged in to your account.
- 2Create a New APP
- 3Generate a new password, Permission and Redirect URI and Create the new APP
- 4Copy the Client and Secret Key and Paste it to the One Drive Settings
- 5You have successfully synced One Drive with the Display Files plugin
PLUGIN SETTING
Go to WP DISPLAY FILES PRO ,Click on Plugin Setting
- Synchronize Time Period : Tick to specify time period to synchroize your files by updating your shortcode.
APPERANCE SETTINGS
- CSS : Insert css here to change visual appearance of listing.
Click on save setting
UPLOAD CUSTOM SKIN FOR FOLDER LISTING TEMPLATE
- Go to WP DISPLAY FILES PRO ,Click on Upload Custom Skin For Folder Listing Template
- Go to choose a file or you can upload skin
You can download new skins. You can also upload your own template skin. Your skin should be a valid compressed zip file containing all files with the same name.
